About Keith
Keith Cawdron has lived in what is now Sefton Central constituency for 32 years since moving from London

He has worked widely in the local voluntary and public sectors: as Chief Executive of Sefton charity Jospice, a senior manager in the NHS, and a close colleague of David Sheppard when he was Bishop of Liverpool.

Keith is very involved in the local community and his current local commitments include being a Governor of St Michael’s School Crosby; a Reader at St Luke’s Anglican Church Crosby; a Trustee of Age Concern Liverpool and Sefton and a Trustee of Pause for Hope (a charity to support anyone affected by cancer). He has served as a non-executive director of Sefton Primary Care Trust, giving him intimate knowledge of the pressures facing our local NHS. He also has first-hand family knowledge of the social care system.

Keith is an enthusiastic amateur singer, a patron of the gym at Crosby Leisure Centre and a frequent cyclist. He is married to Maureen who has taught English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) in Seaforth, Bootle, Southport and Liverpool. They have three adult children, all of whom were educated in Crosby.
